Overview

adyes.top is a static reference site. There are no accounts to create, no comment forms, no newsletters, and no first-party analytics scripts. The site itself therefore has no mechanism for asking you for your name, phone number, e-mail address, or precise location, and it does not build profiles of its readers. The two ways data does move when you visit — ordinary server logs and Google-served advertising — are described below, together with the controls you have over each.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages records standard access logs: the IP address a request came from, the browser's user-agent string, the URL requested, and the time of the request. These logs exist for security and operations — spotting abuse, diagnosing outages — and are not combined with anything else to identify individual visitors.

Advertising and cookies

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense, and advertising is the one part of a visit where third-party cookies are involved. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and device or IP identifiers to serve ads, measure their performance, and personalise what is shown based on your visits to this and other websites. Where the law requires it — in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, for example — you will be shown a consent choice about personalised advertising before such cookies are used. Your choices

Personalised advertising can be reviewed and turned off at Google's Ad Settings (https://adssettings.google.com); opting out still shows ads, but they are no longer based on your browsing history. You can also manage or delete cookies entirely in your browser's settings — the site's own content works identically with cookies blocked — and opt out of many other ad networks at https://www.aboutads.info/choices.

Third-party links

The app support pages link to official FAQ pages for three smart-lighting apps, hosted by the app developer on its own domain. Once you follow such a link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Children

The site is written for a general audience of adults working on their own equipment. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.

Your rights and contact

Because the site holds no personal data about its visitors, there is normally nothing for it to disclose, correct, or delete; for data processed in connection with advertising, Google acts as an independent controller and the controls above apply.
